Additional Information
The Empowering Our Mob (EOM) Program is a culturally grounded initiative led by the Maroochydore Community Justice Group. It is designed not only for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples but also for our South Sea Islander brothers and sisters who are seeking connection, healing, and cultural strength.
This program supports mob who may be navigating the justice system as well as those seeking early intervention, cultural knowledge, and meaningful connection to self, family, and community. It’s about walking together, learning together, and creating safe spaces for truth-telling, identity, and belonging.
Through the guidance of our Elders and Respected Persons, participants are supported to take ownership of their journey, reflect on their experiences, and move forward with strength and dignity.
