The group is made up of Elders and respected community members who bring strong cultural knowledge, lived experience and long‑standing relationships with local courts and services.

We work alongside courts, justice agencies and community organisations to help people feel supported, understood and connected throughout the legal process.

We offer:

  • Support at Ipswich Murri Court
  • Additional support at Ipswich Magistrates Court
  • Guidance and advocacy from Elders and community representatives
  • Help understanding court processes and expectations
  • Culturally informed court submissions

We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Ipswich region who are:
