Program
Alcohol and Other Drugs
Alcohol can become a part of the picture when life is heavy, stressful, or stuck.
Sometimes it leads to situations that bring more problems instead of relief.
This service might be helpful if:
- Alcohol has started to complicate things in your life
- You’ve had situations come up that you’d rather not repeat
- You’re feeling stuck and unsure what the next step should be
- You want support without pressure or judgement

Getting started is simple.
We begin with a one‑on‑one conversation to understand what’s going on for you and what kind of support might be helpful. From there, we work together to plan support that fits your situation and goals.
Support is flexible and shaped around individual needs. There’s no pressure to fit into a set program.
Our role is to support you in practical, respectful ways, which may include:
- One-on-one support focused on what you want to work on
- Helping navigate services, appointments, and systems
- Linking you in with other supports if and when you choose
- Advocating alongside you when things feel hard to manage
- Providing consistent, culturally- safe support
Additional Information
Eligibility criteria includes:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Adults (18+)

At Five Bridges, we believe:
- Respect comes first
- Culture, connection and trust matter
- Change happens through relationships, not pressure
- Support should fit your life, not the other way around
We meet people where they’re at and work at a pace that feels right.
