You will learn how to support independence and well-being, gain technical skills, and develop transferable skills from communication to teamwork. Our highly-experienced trainers provide guidance and support with every step of the way, to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field.

Requirements
Eligibility criteria
Queensland residents
To participate, individuals must be a permanent resident of Queensland.
Eligible age
Individuals who are eligible to participate must be at least 15 years old.
citizenship status
Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with appropriate visas and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen.

The Five Bridges and Look Now Training partnership in the Individual Support Career Readiness Program provides individuals with the opportunity to gain practical skills and prepare for entry into the care and support sector.

You will learn:
- Health services: Individualised support
- Client skills development: Empowering people with disabilities and aged care
- Safe work practices: Following safe practices, employment readiness, and workplace expectations
Qualifications included:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support
- Certificate of attainment in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways
(Please note that this program does not provide the full Cert II FSK qualification. Our program focuses on 8 key units aligned with critical skills identified by employers for new employees) - Bonus NDIS screening and free police check
